Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Malone Fold Away Wall Mount SUPSwing Stand-Up Paddleboard Storage System. Now, this is a Malone SUPSwing storage system, this will provide wall mounted storage for either one stand-up paddleboard or your surfboard. On the mounting bracket right here, if you noticed, they do include these welded on cable rings on each bracket, and this allows a cable lock to be installed through there for theft prevention, so nobody can take your board. And what's nice about this one, this is mounted on the wall, it'll conveniently fold back up against the wall when it's not in use. Basically, you just lift and rotate the pivoting frame. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Malone Xpress TRX Scupper Kayak Cart with the flat-free tires. Now, this large cart will make it easy to transport your scupper-style sit-on-top kayak all by yourself, and the scupper kayaks are the sit-on-top kayaks that have the molded in drain holes which they call scuppers. Now, those vertical holes will connect the boat deck to the water beneath it, and they may be in the cockpit, foot wells, or tank well. On a scupper kayak, you can have typically between one to six scupper holes in it. So this carrier, what's nice about it, it has these padded vertical posts that will insert into those scupper holes, and then the kayak will slide down and rest on these shorter horizontal posts. more

And the main thing about the Malone DownLoader is I liked how for a premium, uh, entry-level kayak carrier, it has some cool features like making it easier for you to strap down the kayak, having this load assist ramp. The downside to it was I did not like the straps that we're included. more

This is definitely gonna be a premium option when it comes to all of our J-style carriers, just because it looks good and has a lot of really cool features. And what I like about the J-style kayak carriers is you have all this leftover space on your crossbars. These are 46 inch crossbars, and we're gonna have about 31 and a half of usable, leftover crossbar space, so plenty of room for another kayak, cargo basket or any other rooftop accessory. Rhino Rack Watersport Carriers Review - 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier on a 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon Wilderness. These are gonna be great for transporting a kayak as well as saving a lot of room in your cross bars for more accessories, like a cargo basket, another kayak, maybe even a bike. It's gonna be made out of steel, so it's gonna be very durable, lasts a long time. It's also finished with a black powder coat making it corrosion and rust resistant as well. The kayaks sit on these foam pads and this is a hard rubber down here at the bottom and it just keeps it protected, free from any scratches or anything like that. The buckles that tie down your kayak are gonna be coated in this rubber material, so if you are a little bit shorter than me and need the buckle over here, you can have that peace of mind knowing that it's not gonna scratch up your kayak as well. more

It is great for freeing up space on your roof rack so you can carry another kayak or your bikes. It's gonna be made out of a lightweight aluminum construction with a black powder coat finish so it's gonna be rust resistant and corrosion resistant as well. It is mounted by these 2 wing nuts and a padded bar right here, and it does fit most of your factory cross bars as well as your arrow shape, your square, even your round bars. It is a fixed J-style, so it's not gonna have the folding features as some of the other kayak carriers. more

Everyone, Charles here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So these are your J-Style kayak carriers. It's gonna be perfect for freeing up extra space on your roof rack so that you can carry other kayaks or your bikes or anything like that. One thing that I do like about this is the assistance that we have here to place our kayak on and just slide it in there as well as the rubberized grooves on the inside where your kayak rests and they do have some grooves in there just for some added traction as well for your kayaks. Another thing to note is that these fit really flush on these aero bars right here. It almost gives it a factory look cause there's not any nuts and bolts hanging off. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this folding J-style kayak carrier with tie downs for the SeaSucker Monkey Bars. These J-style cradles are going to allow you to safely carry one kayak or canoe on its side with your SeaSucker Monkey Bars roof rack. Now specifically, the SeaSucker Monkey Bars roof rack item numbers that these will work with are 298-SX6000B and SEA99FR. These cradles can also work with most factory or aftermarket crossbars. And what's really nice about these carriers is that the push button folds the J-hooks down when they are not in use to reduce wind resistance or save space during storage. Again, you push that button right here and that's gonna allow you to adjust as well. more

Why I like it It is a very decent carrier, gonna get you a lot of those features you might start seeing in some of your more premium carriers, and I'm a really big fan of the strap kit that comes with this guy. Honestly, we try to pump it to a lot of the other Kayak carriers out there because you're getting a lot of just decent fabric here. I love the protection we get on our cam buckles, things like this little felt protection on them, protecting your kayak and the roof of your vehicle, which is great, but honestly the anchors that make this a lot easier to get in the hood and the back hatch of your vehicle, really make it awesome for itself. more

What's up everybody It's AJ, with etrailer.com Today, we're gonna be checking out the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier. It's gonna be a good option to carry one kayak, but it's got a universal fit. Fits on a lot of different roof racks and it's adjustable. So, you can adjust the back cradle forward, all the way. So, let's say you remove the kayak, and you fold that down, it's out of the way, you don't have to remove it from the roof or, if you just need a little more tilt or an angle on it, you can bring it back a little bit, and adjust it to whatever boat or kayak, you're putting up there. Now, it does hold up to 99 pounds, so keep that in mind with whatever kind of kayak you wanna throw on there, before you continue watching. more

So you may need to load kayaks up onto your Toyota Forerunner, but the thing about this larger car is that you have a little bit more height, and you need to get up onto in order to load your kayak. So what may happen is you may need a load assist. So this is the J-Style Kayak Carrier meaning that you have your kayak sitting up, kind of like this on its side, compared to your saddle style pad carriers where it sits flat on its whole. This allows you to carry maybe 2 or 3 kayaks on your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, ideally too with the crossbar space you have. All of that depends on the length of your crossbar. Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we are taking a look at our Yakima DeckHand rear loading, saddle style kayak here, right here on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So this is a saddle style, rear loading kayak here. So what that means is the saddle style is supporting your bolt holes. So this is as close as you're going to get to a conformed fit to your bolt hole compared to any other style of kayak carrier. Now, this does take up a little bit more space on your crossbars. So if you are limited on crossbar space and you want to carry multiple kayaks, this might not be the best option for you, but if you're just carrying a single or you have a space for two of your bigger boats, this is probably a good fit for you. more

What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be checking out The Rhino Rack, j-style kayak carrier kit, with extension arm, which means you're going to be able to hold two kayaks on here now, on our 2017 Kia Forte 5. The nice thing about this being a kit is that if you already have the kayak carrier, the j-style one, you can just get the arms and add it to it, and it'll work together. If you need everything, you can buy the kit and you'll get both of them included. Now one of the reasons this kit is so great, as you can see, on this smaller vehicle with the smaller bars, both of those kayaks fit right next to each other. Normally, if you had two different j-style kayak carriers on there, they'd have to be spread out a little bit more because they're going to lean in and that's going to take up most of, if not all, of the space on your bars. more

Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima JayLow J-Style Kayak Carrier here today on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Now guys, if you're looking a way of getting your kayak to your destination, of course the first thing is gonna be getting a roof rack system. Today we are working on the exposed rack, so we do have somewhat of more of a ill fit, I would say, than we potentially would want. However the JayLow is still doing a very decent job of getting our kayak up on there and giving ourselves a solid base to go ahead and transport our kayaks wherever we need them to go. So you are getting these straps included as well with 'em so that becomes nice, you're not having to make an extra purchase. more

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the etrailer J-style kayak carrier, here today on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. Now it's gonna be a nice little way of going ahead and giving yourself a decent way of carrying your kayaks to wherever your destination might be taking you. With 150 pounds of weight capacity, I don't think we're going to have any trouble getting our kayaks, and maybe even your stand up paddle boards, up in here. Now, personally, this is going to do a way better job of carrying your kayaks, if you really do want to start carrying those standup paddle boards, saddle style just tends to be a little bit better. more
